AskA Monk

Now’s your chance to gain a Hare Krishna monk’s perspective on life, and get some truthful, perceptive answers to those burning questions that have been keeping you awake at night. Ask them anything…from ‘How can I deal with the stresses of daily modern life’, or ‘How do I make friends with my mind?’ to questions of a wider existential nature such as ‘What’s the real purpose of life?’ or ‘Why do bad things happen to good people?’ Find out more about meditation, the power of sacred food, and how today’s society can learn from the culture and wisdom of Vedic India, the ancient civilisation in which yoga has its roots.

Every Wednesday and Friday at Atma from 3 pm to 4 pm.

We believe in unity in diversity, that’s why at Atma we are rolling out our new Mindful Monday sessions, where you can come and get inspired to live consciously. We’ll be presenting different speakers, documentaries, theatre,.. you name it!

Modern issues, ancient wisdom
Unravel the illusion of materialism and experience the inner peace and happiness we are all looking for. In Urban Meditation we hold topical philosophical discussions dealing with the important issues of our times, both personal and global.

Anyone is welcome, especially those who seek a deeper understand of who we are, why we are here and don’t want sentimental or dogmatic answers.

Urban Meditation – Every Wednesday 18:30 – 20:00

A musical mantra meditation session to get the soul rockin’. Words can show us the direction in which to look for the kirtan-experience, but only when you sit down, move towards your inner space, and then sing out, will you start to know what kirtan really is – at that time your soul will rise up and start to dance .

Start your weekend off with a spiritual boost. Kirtan is a meditation in call and response style – the leader sings the mantra and the crowd responds, creating a dynamic, uplifting experience for all. No musical experience required! You don’t have to be able to sing in tune either. Just bring a desire to revitalize your mind and awaken your essential self.
